What Makes a Good Sentence or Paragraph?

Spelling should be correct, Use a dictionary.
All sentences should start with a capital letter.
All sentences should have proper punctuation. Add commas where you would take a breath if you were reading it aloud.
No letters or words should be "swinging from chandeliers".
No letters or words should be "digging for gold in the line below".
Letters should be properly formed.
A sentence should not have more than 7-10 words.
A paragraph should begin indented and contain 5-6 sentences.
Always read your work aloud. If your work reads well aloud, it will read well in my head.

Write one full page. 5th grade = every other line. 6th-12th = every line.
